TikTok TikTok is an app that creates short quierky videos that go around in a continuous loop that feature lip syncing and technical features that can take videos to the next level. The way they market is using other social media platforms that people are already on and posting popular videos made by its users. It is already up to 500 million everyday users and growing and it has only been up since December of 2017. The app has been huge in Asian countries and is leaking over to America grabbing the attention of the young adults and teenagers. Generation Z is tech savvy and very creative and this app is letting these kids demonstrate their creativity and wide variety of talents using these videos. 4k TV's seem like they just came out and for people who do not follow new tech that much they may not have even heard of OLED technology. Yet, Samsung has come out with the newest technology to date with 8k resolution. Samsung is committed to being the leader in new technology in TV's and their Ad brings it all together with #PerfectReality. Samsung is listening to the speed of the market and having the newest and best may be the only way to stay in the tech world. In Samsung's newest Ad campaign for this TV they compare the TV to being the closest thing to actual reality. Allstate "Mayhem" Ad

Marketing Case Study Allstate's Mayhem has company sales going up Allstate had been running the same marketing campaign for quite some time. It was Dennis Haysbert doing the, "are you in good hands" ad and safe driving discount. He was so well liked and his voice was so distinct that I think for a good amount of time these ads were pretty effective. Like everything in the marketing world however things do get old and consumers want what is new and attractive. With the new mayhem is everywhere campaign I really think that Allstate used the purple cow technique quite well. It is a guy that acts as the cause of catastrophic events. For example, he is a tree that goes through your window, or a thief that breaks into your house or car. Based on their sales this marketing campaign has been a huge success. About me: I enrolled in BA 223 because I need it for my degree and it is my first marketing class so I am eager to learn about marketing. I am not a business/ marketing major but am excited to learn a huge part of business that being the marketing side.
